Transfer Stations

Due to the increasing closure of small landfills, large quantities of waste increasingly have to be transported over long distances to incineration, composting and recycling facilities.

Direct transport by collection vehicles is generally associated with prohibitive costs due to the low payload and high personnel requirements. In these cases, the use of waste transfer stations may be appropriate.
